Rollins Edwards Community Center

The Rollins Edwards Community Center opened on July 1, 2019. The 14,000 square foot building, located at 301 N. Hickory St., features a full-size gymnasium, three multipurpose rooms, a fitness room, a wellness center, and a catering kitchen. It is previously known as the S.C. National Guard Armory. It sat vacant for many years before the Town bought the building in 2014. Rollins Edwards was a Dorchester County leader and World War II veteran who passed away in 2017. Open Gym

  • All visitors over the age of 5 must have their own membership/guest pass.
  • Members ages 12 and under must have a parents/guardian (18+year of age) present at all times.
  • All guests 18 years of age or older must have a photo ID. Parents/guardians (18+ years of age) must register all guests under the age of 18.
  • Membership does not include classes and is not required to register for classes.
  • Open Play/Drop In Waiver

Full Facility Rental Fees (includes main hall, gymnasium, kitchen, outside gazebo, tables, chairs) Stage available for rent for an additional fee.

Rental time ranges are subject to change based on facility programs, events, or athletics.

Multipurpose Rooms

All multipurpose rooms are equipped with a TV, 10 tables, and 20 chairs. Minimum of 1 hour rental period.
