Our Responsibilities:
The Public Information Office is responsible for the following services:
Media Relations: We serve as the primary point of contact for journalists and news organizations seeking information about the town, coordinating interviews, press conferences, and media inquiries.
Public Outreach: We work diligently to inform and engage with our community through various channels, including town meetings, social media, email newsletters, and printed materials.
Emergency Communications: During emergencies or critical incidents, the PIO collaborates with the town's emergency management team to ensure that accurate and timely information is disseminated to the public and media outlets.
Website Management: Our team oversees the content and design of the town's official website, ensuring it remains up-to-date, user-friendly, and informative.
