Central Avenue Sidewalk Project

  • The sidewalk will be a little more than three miles long. It will start near the Walgreens on Central Ave. and go to W. Carolina Ave. near Summerville Baptist Church.
  • The sidewalk will play an important role in safer transportation in separating people who walk along the street with motorized traffic. It will help limit interaction between pedestrians and traffic.
  • The project is expected to cost around $1.8 million.
  • Construction is TBA.
