SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (Thursday, June 25, 2020) – The Town of Summerville Municipal Court will be closed to the public for in-person services until further notice. The decision for the closure was made in the best interest of public health and out of an abundance of caution after a Town employee tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The court will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
The Annex Building and Town Hall are still open with strict guidelines.
Services for permitting, planning, zoning, business licensing, code enforcement, and general requests are available online through the CitizenServe portal or by phone.
The Town advises the public to take precautions issued by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the World Health Organization.
